Sustainable Agriculture Tanzania (SAT), a leading non-profit championing organic agriculture and agro-ecology, is seeking a skilled consultant to bring to life the stories of change and resilience from the heart of Tanzania's farmlands.
About the Project
Our Farmer and Pastoralist Collaboration Project (FPC), backed by Biovision Foundation and Liechtenstein Development Service, has been a beacon of transformation across the districts of Mvomero, Kilosa, Same, and Hanang’. With a successful run of over six years, it's time to showcase our journey and impact.
The Assignment
We're looking for a passionate Video Documentary Consultant to produce an engaging and insightful documentary. This project will spotlight the real-time stories and achievements of our farming and pastoralist communities, focusing on themes like climate resilience, conflict reduction, and gender relations.
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience Counts: More than 3 years in film production, preferably with a focus on development work.
- Technical Excellence: High-definition production capabilities to deliver quality content.
- Storytelling Skills: Ability to weave compelling narratives from on-ground experiences.
- Tax Compliance: Valid Tax Registration Certificate.
What You Will Do
- Develop documentary concepts and scripts.
- Conduct field visits for in-depth understanding and storytelling.
- Interview key beneficiaries and stakeholders.
- Produce a comprehensive 90-minute documentary, alongside shorter thematic segments.
Timeframe and Compensation
The consultancy spans 20 days, with a rewarding compensation package, including an upfront payment of 60% upon contract signing.
