Global demand for sustainably produced food and tree-based products is increasing, creating new economic opportunities for farmers. Agroforestry, which entails integrating trees with crops and/or livestock enhances productivity while restoring ecosystems. Tree-based systems improve soil fertility, conserve water, increase biodiversity, and diversify income through fruits, timber, fodder, fuelwood, and other products. This course equips participants with practical knowledge and skills to design, establish, and manage profitable and climate-resilient agroforestry systems that meet sustainable land management standards.
